She is a journalist from Universidad Diego Portales with a Master's degree in Strategic Communications from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Prior to her current role, she worked for nine years in the "País" section of the newspaper "La Tercera," specializing in covering complex judicial cases and analyzing media impact. She is also the co-author of "Los Archivos del Cardenal, Casos Reales" (2011), a publication she developed with the Centro de Investigación Periodística (Ciper). She has also served as an assistant professor of international economics, business management, strategic communication, and public opinion at Universidad Diego Portales.
